The concept of being Born Again is one that stood out when reading the gospel of John, and we take a deeper look into what being Born Again means. This writing dives into the different aspects of being Born Again and how Jesus Christ mentions that no one will see the Kingdom of God unless they are Born Again. The understanding of the importance of having fruits to show that we have been Born Again as believers in Christ and have the Spirit of God living in us is one that this writing aims to achieve.
Identity, Abundance, Provision
This bible study focuses on Luke 9:10-27 where Jesus focuses on who his disciples are and what it's like to be a disciple. The miracle of Jesus, taking two fishes and five loaves of bread, giving Thanks and then being a provider to the people at Bethsaida shows Jesus as a provider. In this miracle, there was also extra food, showing Jesus' abundance for those eager for his word. This bible studies dives into the true definition of why Jesus chose the "Son of Man" title, and we also get an understanding into the moment Peter received revelation that Jesus Christ is God's Messiah, which is Christ's identity.
This bible studies focuses on Luke 12:35-48, where Jesus talks about us being servants and him being the master. As servants and disciples of Christ, we are to live in expectation of his Coming. To live in view and expectation of the Coming of Christ is a MUST, and we have to be ready and prepared. Jesus says that when the master comes and finds the servants ready, the master will entrust the servants with all his possessions. To the servants who do not live in expectance of the Coming of Christ, the master (who is Christ), will come on a day, at an hour the servant does not expect, cut the servant to pieces and assign the servant a place with the unbelievers.
In this devotional message, we discuss the current state of this world; many people, due to hardships and suffering, have turned to substances such as alcohol or drugs, etc, to escape pain or find relief. While it might seem like these provide such relief, they are merely temporary and ultimately leave you feeling even more emptier than before. Praise be to GOD that He has given us His Holy Spirit as a permanent and holy alternative to bring peace, power, and transformation into our lives. We'll discuss who the Holy Spirit is, how we receive him, and what it means to be Spirit-filled.
This journal seeks to express how the life of Jesus Christ is made alive within us through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. As the Holy Spirit moves in us, our lives begin to transform to reflect the life Jesus lived on earth. The Holy Spirit reminds us of the teachings and words of Jesus, enabling us to walk in obedience, love, humility, and truth. This journal is meant to teach and encourage others to open their hearts to the Spirit’s guidance, and to understand how God’s divine presence brings true and lasting transformation.
